AVALIAÇÃO DO EFEITO DE CONCENTRAÇÕES DO HERBICIDA OXYFLUORFEN NO CONTROLE DE PLANTAS DANINHAS EM MUDAS DE CAFEEIRO

Abstract

Devido ao pequeno volume de substrato presente na maioria dos recipientes utilizados para a produção de mudas de cafeeiro, a concorrência com plantas daninhas se torna indesejável. O presente trabalho foi desenvolvido no viveiro de mudas de cafeeiro da chácara Ouro Verde, do proprietário Adalberto Ângelo, localizado em Botelhos MG e teve como objetivos avaliar o efeito do oxyfluorfen no controle de plantas daninhas. Também foi avaliado se houve efeitos fitotóxicos no desenvolvimento das mudas. O herbicida pré-emergente oxyfluorfen foi aplicado no estádio depalito de fósforo. De acordo com as condições deste trabalho, conclui-se que até o estádio “1o par de folhas verdadeiras”, o herbicida pré-emergente oxyfluorfen, foi eficiente no controle de plantas daninhas em os todos tratamentos que receberam a aplicação do mesmo. Somente na concentração de 5,0 L.ha-1 de oxyfluorfen, houve efeito fitotóxico no desenvolvimento das mudas de cafeeiro, comparando-se a testemunha capina manual.

Due to the small amount of substrate present in most of the containers used for the production of seedlings of coffee-tree, competition with weeds becomes undesirable. This study was conducted in seedlings nursery of coffee-tree of the farm Ouro Verde, the owner Adalberto Angelo, located at MG Botelhos and had as aim to assess the effect of oxyfluorfen in controlling weeds. It was also assessed whether there was phytotoxic effects on growth seedlings. The pre-emergent herbicide oxyfluorfen was applied during the stage of match-stick. Under the terms of this work, it concludes that up to the stage "1st pair of true leaves," the pre-emergent herbicide oxyfluorfen, was efficient in controlling weeds in all the treatments that received the application aforesaid. Only in the concentration of 5.0 L.ha--1 of oxyfluorfen, there was negative effect on the development of seedlings of coffee-tree, comparing at witness manual weeding.
