Curva de crescimento do cafeeiro conilon

Abstract

Com o objetivo de caracterizar a curva de crescimento do cafeeiro Conilon (Coffea canephora), um experimento foi conduzido em Marilândia/ES, Brasil. Uma lavoura com o clone 02, da variedade clonal EMCAPA 8111, foi plantada em outubro de 1995. Utilizou-se o delineamento de blocos casualizados com 24 tratamentos (época de amostragem) e 3 repetições. Concluiu-se que: 1. Os pesos da matéria seca total, do tronco + ramos ortotrópicos, raízes, folhas, ramos plagiotrópicos e frutos aumentam segundo uma função sigmoidal, alcançando no 72o mês, 15,94 kg/planta, 7,39 kg/planta, 2,69 kg/planta, 2,65 kg/planta, 1,88 kg/planta e 1,33 kg/planta, respectivamente; 2. A taxa total de crescimento absoluto aumentou até 1,08 kg mês-1, no 48o mês, diminuindo a seguir; 3.A taxa total de crescimento relativo diminui com a idade, variando de 0,21 kg kg-1 mês-1, no 3o mês, a 0,03 kg kg-1 mês-1, no 72o mês. 4. O Conilon apresentou um padrão de crescimento sigmoidal.

With the objective to characterize the growth curve of the coffee plant Conilon (Coffea canephora), an experiment was conducted in Marilândia/ES, Brazil. An orchard with the clone 02, of the clonal variety EMCAPA 8111, was established in October 1995. The experimental design of blocks randomized was used with twenty-four treatments (date sampling) and three repetitions. It is conclude that: 1. The dry matter total, of trunk + orthotropic branches, roots, leaves, plagiotropic branches and fruits increase according to a sigmoid function, reaching in the 72nd month, 15,94 kg/plant, 7,39 kg/plant, 2,69 kg/plant, 2,65 kg/plant, 1,88 kg/plant and 1,33 kg/plant, respectively; 2. Absolute total growth rate increases up to 1,08 kg month-1, on the 48th month, decreasing afterwards; 3. Relative total growth rate decreases with age, varying from 0,21 kg kg-1 month-1, on the 3nd month, to 0,03 kg kg-1 month-1, on the 72nd month. 4. Conilon shows a growth sigmoid pattern.
