Estudo comparativo técnico-econômico do café irrigado por aspersão por pivô central e em malha e irrigação localizada por gotejamento e tripa

Abstract

Na cafeicultura irrigada, diferentes sistemas estão sendo utilizados pelos cafeicultores, notadamente na região do Triângulo Mineiro, em função de suas condições locais no que diz respeito a disponibilidade e qualidade da água, tamanho da lavoura e, evidentemente, recursos disponíveis. Dentre os sistemas mais utilizados na irrigação do café, destacam-se os seguintes: aspersão em malha e pivô central; irrigação por aspersão e gotejamento e tripa; e irrigação localizada. Cada um desses sistemas tem suas vantagens e limitações, de ordem técnica e econômica. No entanto, não existem disponíveis na literatura científica dados conclusivos que definam o melhor sistema a ser utilizado. Dentro dessa perspectiva, este trabalho teve por objetivo avaliar cada sistema citado, objetivando reunir subsídios técnicos e econômicos para recomendações práticas dentro da cafeicultura irrigada. Para isso, foi instalado um experimento no Campo Experimental da Universidade de Uberaba - MG, onde estão sendo estudados quatro sistemas de irrigação, sendo dois por aspersão (em malha e pivô central) e dois por irrigação localizada (gotejamento e tripa), além da testemunha, sem irrigação. Os sistemas constituíram as parcelas. O cultivar estudado foi Catuaí vermelho H2077-2-5/144 no espaçamento de 4,0 m entre ruas por 0,5 m entre plantas.

In the irrigated coffee growing, different systems are being used by the coffee grower, especially in the area of the Triângulo Mineiro, in function of their local conditions about of the readiness and quality of the water, size of the farming and, evidently, of the available resources. Among the systems more used for the irrigation of the coffee, they stand out the following ones: aspersion in mesh and central pivot - irrigation for aspersion and leak and modified sprinkler system - located irrigation. Each one of those systems has their advantages and limitations, of technical and economical order. However, there aren't available in the scientific conclusive literature data that define the best system the used being. Inside of that perspective, that work has for objective to evaluate each mentioned system, aiming at to gather technical and economical subsidies inside for practical recommendations of the irrigated coffee growing. For that, an experiment was installed in the Experimental Field of the Uberaba University, where they are being studied four irrigation systems, being two for aspersion (in mesh and central pivot) and two for located irrigation (leak and modified sprinkler system), besides the witness, without irrigation. The systems will constitute the bits. The cultivate studied is Catuaí red H2077-2-5/144 in the spacing of 4,0m among streets for 0,5m among plants.
